Military Industrial Surveillance
A new report by The Intercept reveals that the Pentagon has a secretive battalion that is surveilling American citizens.
After the revelations of the Twitter files it is now more than obvious that social media has been weaponized against the American people. What many people worldwide do not realize is that their whole lives are being monitored and recorded on social media websites like Facebook and Twitter, while the governments of the world have found a way to track, trace, and database half the world’s population.
Currently there are over 4.9 billion people using social media sites which is over 55% of the world’s population that has willfully allowed their governments to record their entire lives. These governments have done what authoritarians of the past could only dream of, but attempted to do anyways. Only until now do we see social media’s actual purpose, to make sure you don’t embarrass the state.
The unconstitutionality is astounding when you examine how the government is colluding with tech corporations to do things like censor news stories and crush dissent. When you see the egregious actions of a looming technocracy, and the fascistic tendencies of an all powerful corporate elite, men like presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. are gloriously vindicated when they claim that there is a merger of state and corporate power disrupting America’s core institutions.
In a bombshell article by the Intercept, it has been revealed that the Pentagon has officially gone off the deep end when it comes to government surveillance. A document revealed by the news website revealed that there is a secretive group inside the Army called the Protective Service Battalion. This group operates as a “Secret Service” for the high-ups in the military to protect them from mean tweets and hurtful memes.
This office’s only purpose is to hunt down dissenters so that guys like Mark Milley and Lloyd Austin can feel safe at night as they blatantly break their oath to the constitution. It seems that America’s military men, aren’t as manly as they once were, as we the people realize this is not the America we once thought it was. This is the same American military that thinks they can win a war against brutal adversaries like Russia and China, but can’t handle offensive Facebook posts. Can you imagine General George S. Patton feeling sad about right-wing sentiment on 4chan?
The U.S. Army Protective Services Battalion, which sounds like something you would use to investigate bad parents of army brats, is now using social media to protect top-military brass from “assassination, kidnapping, injury, or embarrassment.” What seems embarrassing to me is that the Army is afraid of mean tweets, and being kidnapped like they were 5/yr olds. (No General, don’t take the candy from the man in the white van)
This online Army battalion is being used to scour the internet for dissenters and track their movements using cell phone data. The secretive group released a contradictive document that claims it is looking for “adequate security to mitigate online threats, the identification of fraudulent accounts, and positive or negative sentiment relating specifically to our senior high-risk personnel.”
If you are reading this and you are wondering why you don’t have healthcare, its because the Army has decided to waste your hard earned tax-dollars on spying on you and making sure you don’t say embarrassing things.
The Army planned to use these tools not just to detect online “threats,” but also pinpoint their exact location by combining various surveillance techniques and data sources.
The document cites access to Twitter’s “firehose,” which would grant the Army the ability to search public tweets and Twitter users without restriction, as well as analysis of 4Chan, Reddit, YouTube, and Vkontakte, a Facebook knockoff popular in Russia. Internet chat platforms like Discord and Telegram will also be scoured for the purpose of “identifying counterterrorism and counter-extremism and radicalization,” though it’s unclear what exactly those terms mean here.
The Army’s new toolkit goes far beyond social media surveillance of the type offered by private contractors like Dataminr, which helps police and military agencies detect perceived threats by scraping social media timelines and chatrooms for various keywords. Instead, Army Protective Services Battalion investigators would seemingly combine social media data with a broad variety of public and nonpublic information, all accessible through a “universal search selector.”
These sources of information include “signal-rich discussions from illicit threat-actor communities and access to around-the-clock conversations within threat-actor channels,” public research, CCTV feeds, radio stations, news outlets, personal records, hacked information, webcams, and — perhaps most invasive — cellular location data.
The document mentions the use of “geo-fenced” data as well, a controversial practice wherein an investigator draws a shape on a digital map to focus their surveillance of a specific area. While app-based smartphone tracking is a potent surveillance technique, it remains unclear how exactly this data might actually be used to unmask threatening social media posts, or what relevance other data categories like radio stations or academic research could possibly have.
The Army procurement document shows it wasn’t just looking for surveillance software, but also tools to disguise the Army’s internet presence as it monitors the web. The contract says the Army would use “misattribution”: deceiving others about who is actually behind the keyboard. The document says the Army would accomplish this through falsifying web browser information and by relaying Army internet traffic through servers located in foreign cities, obscuring its stateside origin.
The article went on to say that the Army was going to cover its tracks and its ass, as it wanted to “disguise it’s presence” as it collected data and monitored Americans. The article also revealed the fascistic relationship between the military and software companies that had “reportedly boasted of work to thwart protests and infiltrate private chat rooms.” These companies are a threat to the American people and to the Constitution, and they reveal modern America’s biggest problem: Technocratic Fascism.
Another article by the Intercept revealed that the government is setting young Americans up to be imprisoned because they gave $20 gift cards to ISIS. In an unbelievable story by the news website they revealed that the FBI set up a 16 year old kid who was mentally handicapped. (Yes, the FBI is subjugating and imprisoning retarded children, this is not a dream, this is your nightmarish dystopia.)
In what seems like something from an episode of Reno 911 the FBI has officially and collectively lost its mind. The Intercept exposed this modern dystopian story,
A flurry of reports picked up on the arrest of Mateo Ventura, an 18-year-old resident of the sleepy town of Wakefield, echoing government claims that an international terrorist financier and ISIS supporter had just been busted in the United States. The Department of Justice’s own press release on the case likewise trumpeted Ventura’s arrest for “knowingly concealing the source of material support or resources that he intended to go to a foreign terrorist organization.”
The only problem with the case and how it has been described, however, is that according to the government’s own criminal complaint, Ventura had never actually funded any terrorist group. The only “terrorist” he is accused of ever being in contact with was an undercover FBI agent who befriended him online as a 16-year-old, solicited small cash donations in the form of gift cards, and directed him not to tell anyone else about their intimate online relationship, including his family.
The arrest has shaken his family, who denied allegations that their son was a terrorist and said that he had been manipulated by the FBI. Ventura’s father, Paul Ventura, told The Intercept that Mateo suffered from childhood developmental issues and had been forced to leave his school due to bullying from other students.
“He was born prematurely, he had brain development issues. I had the school do a neurosurgery evaluation on him and they said his brain was underdeveloped,” Ventura said. “He was suffering endless bullying at school with other kids taking food off his plate, tripping him in the hallway, humiliating him, laughing at him.”
Contrary to the sensational narrative fed to the news media of terrorist financing in the U.S., the charging documents show that Ventura gave an undercover FBI agent gift cards for pitifully small amounts of cash, sometimes in $25 increments. In his initial bid to travel to the Islamic State, the teenager balked — making up an excuse, by the FBI’s own account, to explain why he did not want to go. When another opportunity to travel abroad arose, Ventura balked again, staying home on the evening of his supposed flight instead of traveling to the airport. By the time the investigation was winding down, he appeared ready to turn in his purported ISIS contact — an FBI agent — to the FBI.
Unfortunately, what seems like a bad sitcom is actually reality as the FBI is destroying the lives of American citizens so they can seem relevant. Instead of investigating actual criminals, like child-sex traffickers flooding the southern border, they are harming average citizens who could have one day contributed to society. In a technocratic system where your reputation follows you where ever you go, this poor handicapped kid will probably never lead a meaningful life because he was set-up by the Federal government.
So what is the purpose of social media being weaponized by the government? Well, it is simple really, the world elite are trying to destroy free speech and squash dissent all across the globe, and they need government entities like the Army and the FBI to do it. The proof is all over the internet as many articles have been written denouncing free speech as some sort of commodity instead of a core institutional value.
Articles in the Times have been written saying that Free Speech is a “White man’s obsession,” while terms like Free Speech Absolutism have been created out of fat air to describe anybody who believes in the Constitution. The Military and ABC agencies are covertly violating the supreme law of the land so they can get paid in an Orwellian top-down system that resembles Weimar Germany.
In reality, Free speech is absolute and we have to peacefully defend freedom any way we can. The freedom to think, write, and say anything you want as long as it does not condone violence; is the American way, and we can’t stray away from that. The blatant government corruption has to stop or the destruction of the nation is inevitable because we no longer represent our values. Freedom of speech has never been more important than in a time that we are so close to a world war that will leave humanity in ashes.
Donald Trump is right when he says that America is turning into a third-world nation or a banana republic. Trump recently claimed that the state department, the defense bureaucracy, and the intelligence services need to be overhauled and reconstituted to put America first. The globalist technocratic elite need to be dismantled before free speech is destroyed and America is turned into a third world dictatorship.
The former President claimed that the greatest threat to western civilization is not Russia, it is ourselves; it is the Marxists, Fascists, Communists, and Globalists that have corrupted America to the point of collapse. These Technocratic elite and their failed ideologies are destroying America piece by piece as they constantly work against the average American as they undermine our leaders. The only way to save America as it stands now is to have strong leaders that are willing to reform the system.
Strong leaders like Donald Trump and Bobby Kennedy can make positive steps to repair a seemingly failed nation. When we have unholy crises, like an open border where tens of thousands of children are being trafficked and enslaved, the burden is left heavy on our souls to create change in a truly broken system.
If our leaders fail, we fail, but we cannot rely solely on them to fix the system, we have to fix it ourselves. The problems are so deep-ceded it might take nothing less than a peaceful revolution to save America. Ask not who can save America, ask how we can save America, and then America will be saved.
