I agree 110%. That is a great analagous comparison to C.S. Lewis, one of the great authors of my youth. I absolutely loved The Chronicles of Narnia series.

This is an amazing piece of writing, thank you so much. Not happy reading, but hard truth. It is indeed a sad state of affairs here in the "United States". Someone recently brought up the fact that it's generally understood by biblical scholars that the US is not mentioned in Revelation. This article describes why, IMO. There are those who think that Trump can bring a semblance of peace to the Russian Ukrainian conflict, but a LOT of damage has already been done, most of it self-inflicted by this blood sucking leech called the Biden administration. It is clear that this is their intention, and that there are others akin to Darth Insidious of Star Wars fame directing the play. God help us.

However, it is Good Friday and the events that this day recall do tell of hope and a future for all who listen and believe. As C.S. Lewis so beautifully said in "The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe", the evil queen Jadis had forgotten about "The Deeper Magic from Before the Dawn of Time" (do an internet search on these words for a great explanation) that allowed Aslan the Lion to allow himself to be sacrificed so cruelly that Narnia might be reborn. That is our hope and salvation for the long run. In the short term I pray that President Trump and the strong fearless patriotic voices of our time can rally us as a nation and our allies beyond to punish this fate back a bit further.
